Navigate Your Career. Create Your Future.

My mission is to help amateur and professional soccer players navigate career transitions to help them establish clarity and confidence for their next step.
Every athlete has their own story and untapped potential. Our role is to help you discover it.
We work in a co-creative partnership with our athletes, using a future-focused approach based on the philosophies of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Through active listening and direct, open-ended communication, we will explore your goals and tackle the challenges in your way.
Our work is always centered on you as an individual, providing a space for personal growth and self-exploration as you build a clear path forward.
Above all, we value the human as well as the athlete, seeing each person for who they are.
At Navigating Stages, we offer coaching for:
My name is Austin Causey! I am the Coach and Founder of Navigating Stages. I am currently receiving my Certified Coaching credential through Coach Training Alliance (CTA), an International Coaching Federation (ICF) recognized organization, as a practicing Life-Coach for athletes.
On the field, I am a professional soccer player with 5+ years of experience in the professional game. Born and raised in New England, I spent my youth career at the highest-level with the New England Revolution Academy, before turning pro with the Richmond Kickers in 2021 and 2022. Following the Kickers, I was part of the inaugural seasons with Lexington Sporting Club in 2023 and 2024 before joining the New York Red Bulls organization in 2025.
Throughout my athletic career, I noticed a need for personalized mental health resources,
especially competitive soccer players. In 2025, I created Navigating Stages, a resource formulated for individual athletes to help elevate their mental health on and off the field.
As an athlete, I've had a front-row seat to the challenges and transitions that define your career. From transitioning between teams to overcoming injuries, setbacks, and balancing life off the field.
Through it all I've learned one thing:
It is not easy to navigate the stages of your career and life alone.
